5 Songs That Have kicking bass & catchy lyrics

The Hook is everything & you know my bass boost is turn all the way up. have you ever just heard a song and instantly started bobbing your head in unisen with the beat. Well this is a list of  5 songs that really just from the start had me bobbing my head and still do to this day.

1. French Montana - "Devil On my Soul"

"I pray to God I ain't never dying broke
If I ever owe you, you ain't never going broke
Everything you seen been the realist shit you saw
What the business is keep minds on the low
Devil want my soul, bitches turn me cold
Bottle after bottle watching bitches on the pole
Promise never fold, money never fold
Gettin money fast, watchin niggers dying slow"

French Montana is a pretty new rapper who just dropped a new mixtape "Mak &Cheese 3" where this song was featured on. The Hook on this song is sick. The bass drop is one of the best I’ve heard in a while. His lazy style over a banging beat really makes this song pop. In a car with base this song would slap!

2. Chief keef - "Kobe"

I say baby I got the racks she like you need to show me
She gon wanna blow me cuz I ball like I’m Kobe
On my right wrist Versace on my left wrist a Rolly
I hold my Rolly up and now them bad bitches on me
I pull them hundreds out my right pocket fifties out my left
I’m ballin’ like I’m Kobe I got blood with the ref
Watch me shoot the street, infirmaries death(?)
I got twenty seven more of them be Curtis and shit(?)
Since I signed with Jimmy Iovine I swear I think that I’m Kobe
You boys won’t be like me and I think that you owe me
Since I signed with Jimmy Iovine I swear I think that I’m Kobe
You boys won’t be like me and I think that you owe me

Chief Keef is also a relatively new rapper on the scene. He got noticed with his song "I Don’t Like" and has been a sensation ever since. This song" Kobe" which is featured on his debut album “Finally rich" that dropped this week. The song is inspired by the soft spoken Kobe Bryant. Bryant is and all-time top 10 players in the NBA he has been playing for 16 years and never really gets into it with people. usually doesn’t have problems just goes out does his thing gets all buckets and hops off the court. Chief Keef is saying he just wants to chill do him and make a lot of $$.

3. Chief Keef - " Love Sosa"

These bitches love Sosa
And they love them glo' boys
Know we from the 'go boy
But we cannot go boy
No I don't know o boy
But I know he a broke boy
Rari's and rover's
Convertibles in bulk boy
You know I got bands boy
And it's in my pants boy
Disrespect them o boys
You won't speak again boy
Don't think that I'm playin boy
No we don't use hands boy
No we don't do friends boy
Collect bands I'm a land lord
I gets lotsa commas
I can fuck yo mama
I ain't with the drama
You can meet my llama
Ridin with 3hunna
With 300 foreigns
These bitches see chief Sosa
I swear to god they all on

This Song is inspired by Chief Keefs nickname "Sosa". It is featured on his mixtape "GBE 2”. He is talking about his hood in the song which is “O Block" and "Lamron”. What really inspired this song is all the love and attention he has been getting lately I’m sure when you get rich a lot of females just want to talk to you because you have a lot of money and are famous. The beat is crazy stupid and made this song an instant hit everywhere across the US.

4. Juicy J  - " Know betta"

 Niggas talking like they stunting
 But real niggas ain't stupid
Who you think you fooling
You gon have to come prove it
You know me I'm a OG I don't say it unless I do it
Got a pistol off in my five-fifty
nigga don't make me use it

The Song "Know Betta" is Juicy J’s new hit single from last month. The song was recorded on the tour bus on Wiz Khalifa's "2050" tour and the music video was shot on the tour bus. Juicy J was born in 1975 which definitely makes him the oldest rapper on this list. But his violent lyrics and smooth voice makes any track a must have on a teenagers iPod. The Bass is turned way up and I love his style of rapping it’s a lot different than the others rappers his ago for sure. But his songs always have a lot of bass in them Juicy J is in my top 15.

5.Asap Rocky " Fucking Problem"

Hold up bitches simmer down
Takin' hella long bitch give it to me now
Make that thing pop like a semi or a nine
Oh baby like it raw with a shimmy shimmy ya
Huh, ASAP get like me
Never met a motherfucker fresh like me
All these motherfuckers wanna dress like me
Put the chrome to your dome make you sweat like Keith
Cause I'm the nigga, the nigga nigga, like how you figure?
Getting figures and fuckin bitches, she rollin' swishers

Asap Rocky is a young Rapper who is with "Asap Mob" his clique of guys he raps with. The Song "Fucking Problem" talks about girls not experiencing real guys. A lot of guys fake it or try and stunt to impress girls. But we all know that stuff like that don’t work. So in the chorus he tells all the girls if they need to meet someone real to go to his house. I love that line it makes me laugh. It also features 2 Chainz and if you know anything about him you would know any beat he comes on is crazy. That’s why he charges $100,000 for a verse.

  1. Kris, I think it's great that you're so passionate about these songs that you decided to make them your final blog post for this class. I'm not much of a rap fan, but when I listen to rap music, I really like Eminem. One thing I admire about rappers is that they aren't afraid to express their true feelings. A lot of musicians simply sing what they think other people want to hear, but a lot of rappers speak about their experiences and how the experiences influenced who they are now. Great job on your blog post!

  2. I totally agree on what you mean by the hook in a song is everything. I only know one of the songs you posted on here and I love it. Like Melissa stated, rap music tells more of a story than pop artists for example. You can easily relate to some of the emotions that they express in their songs. I really enjoyed reading your blog post, good job!
